"Hi, my name is Phillip Waters, and I am the clinical research director here at The Asthma and Allergy Center of Chicago. You can call me 'Phil'. Originally from the St. Louis area, I joined the Asthma and Allergy Center of Chicago team in May of 2019. When I am not working I am usually spending time with my friends and family, exercising, or reading. I enjoy kayaking in the summer, skiing in the winter, and playing basketball year-round. I am passionate about medical research, and it is my professional goal to help advance the field of allergy, asthma, and immunology. It is a very rewarding experience to watch as one of the therapies we have researched becomes an approved treatment option throughout the country. Above all, though, are my personal interactions with our patients, which are the most rewarding aspects of my career."
